Responsible Play
Practical limits, warning signs and account controls for safer gaming activity.
Last updated: 3 July 2026
Set the limit first
Choose a fixed spending amount and time before opening any game. The amount should not affect rent, food, bills, debt, health or savings.
Do not chase losses
An earlier loss does not make the next round more likely to win. Increasing the amount to recover a loss can rapidly exceed the original limit.
Use only your own funds
Do not borrow, use credit intended for essentials or access another person’s account. Keep payment and account details private.
Take breaks
Step away at planned intervals and stop at the time limit even when another round is about to begin.
Notice warning signs
Warning signs include hiding spending, missing responsibilities, borrowing, repeated recovery attempts, sleep disruption or feeling unable to stop.
Use controls
Use device limits, payment controls, self-exclusion or account restrictions where available. Ask a trusted person for support when control feels difficult.
Age restriction
Gaming with money is for adults who meet the age requirement and local rules. Minors should not create or use an account.
Get help
When gaming causes harm, stop account activity and contact an appropriate local support or health service. Immediate financial or emotional safety comes before account access.
Create barriers before a problem grows
Keep essential funds in a separate account, disable easy credit, remove saved payment methods and use device or bank limits where available. Barriers are most effective when set before a session.
Talk to someone early
Share the situation with a trusted person when spending is hidden, limits are repeatedly changed or gaming affects sleep and responsibilities. Early support can reduce financial and emotional harm.
Use a cooling-off period
Take a complete break after exceeding a limit or feeling pressure to recover money. Do not return during the break to check results or promotions.
Protect other people
Never use another person’s funds, identity, mobile number or bank account. Do not encourage a minor or vulnerable person to participate.
Emergency priority
When gaming is connected to immediate financial danger, self-harm thoughts or threats from another person, stop account activity and contact appropriate local emergency or support services.
